Chapter 395
Jude didn't expect to have to apologize instead of thanking Yolanda as he had originally planned, and it made his
face burn with shame.
"This has nothing to do with you, Mr. Kaufman," Yolanda said. She wasn't an unreasonable person. She wouldn't
associate what Michelle did to Jude and blit all on him.
"You're not fully recovered yet. It's better to rest and recuperate instead of leaving the hospital."
There was a lot of bacteria outside, and it wasn't conducive for Jude to get better. Yolanda wasn't very agreeable
with him being out and about just because he felt a little better.
"| couldn't really speak my heart at the intensive care unit previously, so | wanted to thank you personally and
invite you to a meal," said Jude solemnly.

"You've saved my life twice despite all the wrongs in between. | need to personally thank you for your kindness."
When Miguel heard that Yolanda was Jude's lifesaver, he was dumbfounded. However, it was too late for him to
regret his actions.
"Don't mention it, Mr. Kaufman. You and Commissioner Kaufman had also helpedwhen Willow Creek Clinic
nearly got confiscated before this."
What Yolanda casually said had sent Miguel down a spiral of despair. Not only did Yolanda save Jude's life, but
she was also acquainted with Joel. He had now crossed Yolanda, and this would be his downfall.
When Michelle, who was dragged out, learned of who Yolanda was from Jude's men, she was filled with regret.
Yolanda wasn't a nobody. All she needed to do was waggle her finger, and she could easily finish her off.
Michelle was filled with remorse. She couldn't help but resent Miguel in her heart. If Miguel hadn't called her and
asked her to support him, she wouldn't have crossed Yolanda and the president of the State Medical Board.
Sadly, it would be useless no matter what she wanted to say now.
Compared to the hopelessness that Miguel and Michelle were experiencing, Dunstan stood tall and proud. He
approached Jude and shook his hand with much excitement and joy.
"Hi, Mr. Kaufman. My nis Dunstan. We've met once, but | haven't had the chance to formally introduce
myself to you yet."
"Hello, Dunstan." Jude thought Dunstan's excitement was a little overwhelming, but still shook his hand anyway
because he respected Yolanda.
"Mr. Kaufman, this is Dr. Davidson's grandson."
Yolanda didn't stop Dunstan from being rash. Instead, she reintroduced Dunstan to Jude once more.
"Oh, so this is Dr. Davidson's grandson. No wonder you look like a person of great merits."
When Jude learned that Dunstan was Baxter's grandson, his impression of Dunstan improved further.
Dunstan had been helping out at the Willow Creek Clinic. With Baxter guiding him, his previous bad behavior
improved tremendously, and he becmore proactive in life.
"You're too kind, Mr. Kaufman. I'm only a mere apprentice at the Willow Creek Clinic. I'll still need Ms. Henderson
to mentor me."
"Ms. Henderson is very skilled. You would achieve great things in the future under her tutelage."
Yolanda looked exasperatedly at the both of them as they sang her praises. She was awed that they were able to
keep a conversation going.
"You should head back to the hospital now, Mr. Kaufman," reminded Yolanda. "It's not beneficial for you to stay
out for such a long time."
"Ah, look at me. | kept talking and forgot the most important thing." Jude tapped himself on the head and added,
"Other than thanking you, | would also like to ask for a favor from you today."
"What is it?"
"Do you have tnext Friday?"
