Chapter 2180 Guardian Rock

Jared had been soaking himself in the Spring of Regeneration for three whole days. He could feel the spring water

changing every day.

He let his spiritual sense flow along the water, intending to penetrate the restricted area and determine where the

water was flowing.

After three days of investigating, Jared had a feeling that the water wasn't continuously flowing out but instead

circulating within the area.

Under the moonlight, Jared slowly stood up from the spring and followed the current to the forbidden ground.

Soon after, he was overcome by a terrifying pressure, followed by an intense pain that spread all over his head.

“What a strong restriction. It looks like the restriction arcane arrays set up by the secluded sects are indeed

powerful,” Jared exclaimed.

He quickly abandoned the idea of intruding into the forbidden ground. With his current capabilities, he was not

powerful enough to resist the arcane array created by a few secluded sects working together.

Feeling helpless, Jared returned to the Spring of Regeneration. His curiosity was piqued as he stared at the water

flowing down the mountain.

The spring water seems ordinary enough. Why does it have that effect?

As he watched the flowing water, he suddenly had a wild idea.

Can I explore the origin of the water if I can't trace its destination?

Jared punched the boulder where the water was flowing out, causing it to shatter into pieces. He decided to dig his

way into the mountain in an attempt to find the source of the water.

After a short while, Jared had already tunneled forward for dozens of meters. The rocks gradually became harder,

and their hue turned a bloody red.

Jared furrowed his brows as he discovered the red stones were emanating an intense lethal intent as he advanced.

Ordinary rocks wouldn't contain any lethal intent.

He couldn't help but wonder if there was something hidden underneath the mountain range.

Despite his surprise, Jared forged ahead without stopping.

Several meters later, he encountered a massive boulder blocking his path. Undeterred, he delivered a powerful

punch, but to his surprise, the rock remained unscathed.

Jared was confused. With his current strength, he could crush any metal easily, let alone a rock.

He gently caressed the boulder with his hand, and as he did so,

Wordless Tome in his brain began to glow, and a new insight flooded his mind.

“Guardian Rock!”

The term “Guardian Rock” surfaced in his mind, followed by an explanation.

This rock, aptly named Guardian Rock, served as a protector of the nearby mountain range.

Many sects preferred to construct their headquarters within thickly wooded forests, while others chose to build

within the valleys of mountains. In order to prevent the mountain range from collapsing and causing harm, they

would install a Guardian Rock to fortify the area.

The presence of a Guardian Rock here indicates that a sect previously resided in this location. However, its absence

prompts the question of what happened to the sect. Could the Spring of Regeneration have any connection to the

former occupants of this place?

Jared observed the Guardian Rock, his brows knitted together.

With the Guardian Rock in place, it seemed impossible for him to dig any further.

“A rock can't stop me. There must be a way to destroy it.”

Jared channeled the Power of Dragons to his fist. A chorus of dragon roars filled the skies as his fist emitted a

golden glow.

“Sacred Light Fist!”

Jared gave it his all this time when he swung his fist.

Boom!

When his fist landed on the Guardian Rock, the rock itself remained intact, yet the entire mountain range shook

vigorously multiple times.

Staring at the undamaged Guardian Rock, Jared felt a wave of fury crashing through him. He raised his arm, about

to deliver another punch.

At that moment, stones began to fall down the tunnel that Jared had excavated earlier. The tunnel was on the

verge of collapsing.

Seeing that, he quickly spun on his heels to flee the tunnel.
