witnessing their exchange in the arena.
Ghaylen hummed in response, nodding in acknowledgment. “It looks like we've underestimated him.”
Ebenez, sitting beside him, snorted in contempt. “He's just banking on his agility. Claiming he could defeat Bilius
within ten minutes, yet with all this dodging, he won't even manage it in an hour. Ghaylen, when the ten minutes
are up, it'll be your duty to announce the results.”
Upon hearing Ebenez's words, Zebediah and Ghaylen fell silent. They could not help but agree with his assessment.
Indeed, Jared's evasive skills were remarkable, but they worked against him, especially considering he had boasted
about defeating Bilius within ten minutes.
“Since you gave up the chance to get out of here alive, then don't blame me for not holding back,” Jared declared.
Finally, he stopped dodging and began to swing his Dragonslayer Sword with full force.
The two combatants clashed and intertwined on the stage, causing the entire arena to tremble.

The python opened its mouth, revealing its sharp fangs as it lunged toward Jared.
