Seeing Eleanor fall silent, Elbert patted his hair and struck a pose he thought was terribly cool in front
of her. He then strolled past them into the hall.
Silent all this while, Caleb nervously dragged Katharine over to Bernard. “Mr. Laurence, my wife’s
