It took them about half an hour to reach their destination.
The car stopped steadily in front of the restaurant, and the waiter cforward to open the door.
There were a lot of luxury cars parked outside the restaurant, and there were also a lot of decorations. Maybe because they had just opened, the whole restaurant was really bustling. After they got out of the car, the restaurant's manager cout to greet them. "Mr. Melton, we've reserved a spot for you. Please follow me." Rylan glanced back at Catherine.

Before Rylan could even explain, the manager ahead immediately stopped in his tracks and responded to Catherine's question, "Miss, there's a small party being held by our boss on the second floor tonight. The guests are all our boss's close friends. Your and Mr. Melton's VIP room is up ahead." The explanation made sense. Today was the grand opening of the restaurant, so the boss was inviting friends to help liven things up. It was all pretty normal.

When Selene saw Catherine, her whole face lit up. The person she had been waiting for had finally arrived. Seeing Catherine trying to avoid her, Selene felt really pleased.
She was planning to teach Catherine a lesson. "Miss Swann, what a coincidence! How cI run into you here, too?" Her voice drew the attention of the people around.
Catherine totally acted like she didn't see it and kept on walking straight ahead.
