An Understated Dominance by Marina Vittori Chapter 1340

The most infuriating thing was that Eleanor showed up in front of Ezra and her friend with benefits! That

was a blatant provocation!

“Eleanor, why have I never met this best friend of yours?” Ezra took a deep breath to suppress his

anger.

“Do I need your permission to have friends now?” Eleanor asked flatly.”Besides, you have some girl

friends whom I’ve never met before, too.”

“I” Ezra wanted to retort but found nothing he could say. He knew what this was about now. This

woman was intentionally pissing him off to get back at him.

“What a rare occasion that we’re all gathered here today, Eleanor. Here, have a drink.”

Seeing that things were starting to look ugly, Sheehan forced a smile and tried to diffuse the situation.

“I don’t drink.” Eleanor refused frostily. “Oh, that’s alright. You can just have some fruit juice, then.

Anything that suits your taste.”

Sheehan chuckled deferentially before turning to give a waiter some orders. A while later, the waiter

returned with all sorts of juices.

“Here, Dustin. Have some juice.” Eleanor picked up a glass of fruit juice and fed it to Dustin. She

appeared very attentive and gentle, personally feeding him the juice.

Their display of affection made Ezra’s hackles rise. He gritted his teeth in annoyance. He could mess

around with other women, but that didn’t mean he didn’t mind being cheated on.

No matter what, Eleanor was his fiancée. It was a slap to his face for her to act all lovey-dovey with

another man in front of him.

“Asshole! How dare you mess with my woman? You’re playing with fire!” Ezra thought as he fumed

inwardly.

He glared at Dustin fiercely. If looks could kill, Dustin would have been dead by now.But with Eleanor

there, he could only force himself to stay calm.

“Just drinking is boring.” Ezra suddenly thought of something. “Hey, Sheehan, haven’t you learned

some occult techniques from Sir Crane?

“I heard that it’s amazing. Why don’t you show us what you’ve learned? You can liven things up a little.”

Sheehan had spent a huge sum to learn some strange and mysterious tricks from an occult expert so

that he could use them to pick up girls. There were tricks like hypnosis, controlling another person’s

actions, and dark spells.

Whenever Sheehan went to bars and met prude girls who refused to go with him, he would use those

tricks on them. They would always leave with him and comply with his every command. Now, Ezra

planned to use Sheehan’s tricks to make a fool of Dustin.

“Ezra, those are just silly tricks. They’re nothing worth showing off,” Sheehan said with a chuckle.

“Oh, don’t worry. Just take it as a magic show. Let us see what wonders you can perform.” Ezra winked

discreetly at Sheehan.

“Yes, Crock, come on. We’d all like to see,” the others echoed. “Alright then. Since everyone’s so

interested, I shall do what I can.” Sheehan quickly understood what Ezra had in mind.

He chuckled. “But I need someone to give me a hand in my performance for it to be interesting. Is

anyone willing to join me?”

“Dustin here should be just the person you need.”

Ezra looked at Dustin and said with terribly disguised malice, “Let’s give our new friend here a chance

to get to know everyone. How’s that?”

“You need someone to assist you? I can do it,” Eleanor offered. “Eleanor, I can’t use my occult

techniques on ladies.” Sheehan shook his head.

“Dustin, you’re a man, aren’t you? You can’t be such a wimp, can you?” Ezra taunted. “Don’t worry,

Dustin. I promise you won’t be in any kind of danger.” Sheehan smiled slightly.

“Yes, come on, be a good sport. We’re all interested to see what Sheehan can do. Don’t be a party

pooper,” several others clamored. They all looked at Dustin with ill will. They knew very well that Ezra

and Sheehan were up to no good.

“Alright then, since everyone’s in such high spirits, I’ll be a good sport and join you in some fun.” Dustin

smiled and downed his glass of juice.

A decade had passed, and it seemed like these rich and spoiled kids in Oakvale had forgotten the

terror that Logan Rhys had brought them.
