“Huh?” Dexter, who had been firing shots, saw something flash before his eyes. Dustin suddenly

reappeared in front of him. He was unbelievably fast, given the fact that he was already quite far away

when he pulled the trigger.

“You … are courting death!”

Dexter’s expression changed when he heard a cold and stern voice beside his ear. He lifted his gun

and wanted to fire another shot.

However, before he could pull the trigger, Dustin held his wrist and gave it a tight squeeze. With a loud

crack, Dexter’s wrist limped downward immediately, and his fingers let go of the gun lifelessly.

“Ah!” After he recovered from his shock, Dexter let out a loud cry. Dustin gave him another punch in the

stomach as he wailed.

He spit out another mouthful of blood. Dexter was like a ballistic missile when he was sent flying

several yards away. He then slammed into the wall heavily, and it cracked in several places upon

impact. His body was stuck to the wall momentarily before sliding down slowly.

His head was lowered, and blood dripped from his nose and mouth. No one had any idea how many

bones inside him had been broken.

Dexter had been crippled with just one punch. The crowd was stunned beyond words when they saw it.

It began with Dexter withdrawing his gun for a sneak attack. Then, it was followed by Dustin’s

retaliation, which led to Dexter being incapacitated.

It all happened too quickly. In the blink of an eye, it was over. It was so fast that some of the people

present didn’t realize what was happening.

“Do you have no integrity? Pulling a sneak attack? It seems to be your favorite move.” Dustin

approached him with a cold expression as he stepped on Dexter’s chest.

“You-” Dexter wanted to say something, but he spit out blood before he could. He felt like his chest was

going to explode. His heart was being subjected to a lot of pressure. If Dustin applied more force, he

might just explode.

“Stop!” At this moment, Cody stood up suddenly and shouted, “Hey! Dustin! How dare you? Let Mr.

Dexter go!”

“Why? Are you getting yourself involved?” Dustin slowly turned to look at him with a sharp gaze.

Cody instantly felt scared and nervous. However, thinking about the wealth he could gain and the

chance to curry favor with the Fallon family, he gritted his teeth. He mustered his courage and took a

few steps forward.

“Dustin Rhys! You’ve gone too far! Mr. Dexter is from a prestigious family. There’d be serious

consequences if you hurt him!

“If you know what’s good for you, let him go now! Apologize publicly, and maybe they’ll let you live!”

Cody spoke with his nose in the air with a false sense of bravado.

If he could protect Dexter today, he would have earned some favor with the Fallon family. This could be

the chance to bring the Ostrower family into the elite circle.

“That’s right! I demand that you let him go now! If not, you’d be in big trouble!” Harper followed suit.

Dexter might be a little down on his luck now, but he was still a decorated general. If she could win his

heart, even just to be his mistress, it’d be an honor.

“And if I refuse?” Dustine smirked.

“You wouldn’t dare!” Harper glared at him. “Dustin Rhys! You’d better know your worth and know what’s

good for you!” Cody exclaimed in a stern voice. Even though the rest didn’t voice their opinion, they all

had the same thoughts.

Dustin might be skilled, but he was a nobody. Natasha might be on his side, but she could never

challenge the Fallon family. The wisest choice to make was to stop before it was too late.

“Really?” Dustin slowly applied more pressure on his foot. Dexter, who was under him, felt suffocated

as his eyes rolled backward and his face reddened. He was short of breath, and he felt as if his heart

was going to jump out from his chest.
