“Dustin Rhys, if you insist on going to the monastery, I’ll not stop you. However, please accept this.” As she spoke,

Grace took out a golden talisman from her pocket and gave it to Dustin.

The talisman looked very normal and unassuming. However, Dustin could feel a special energy emanating from it.

It was very faint yet very fascinating. Yet, when he took a proper look at it, he found nothing.

“This is a talisman that I got for you. Maybe it could help you in times of need.” Grace explained.

“Talisman?” Dustin raised his eyebrows slightly, and his curiosity was piqued. “We don’t know each other, why would

you help me?”

“Because you can’t die. Not now, at least,” Grace sounded serious.

Dustin’s life was very important as it was tied to the fate of Dragonmarsh. If he died in Oakvale, the city would be

thrown into chaos.

She didn’t want to see this happen. As such, she decided to help Dustin overcome this difficult task. This was the

responsibility of the Seers.

“I appreciate your thoughtfulness.” Dustin nodded slightly and received the talisman happily. From their earlier

conversation, he could tell that she was probably from the Regal Observatory.

The Regal Observatory was a very mysterious department in Dragonmarsh. The people working in this department

were very knowledgeable.

Through divination, they could foretell the future fate of a country. The best part was they could go anywhere they

wanted to and eradicate evil!

However, the Regal Observatory would never interfere with common affairs. They wouldn’t reveal themselves

unless something posed a danger to the fate of Dragonmarsh.

“Dustin Rhys, I’ve said and done what I needed to. I really hope that you’ll think before you act. Farewell.”

After giving him the talisman, Grace decided not to say anything more and got up to leave. She had done all that

she could within her power. The outcome wasn’t within her control. 2

“This way, Ms. Linsor.” Dustin got up to send her to the door, and he watched her leave.

A sudden visit from the Regal Observatory showed the gravity of this matter. It was also a sign of great changes to

come. He was getting closer to the truth.

“Your Highness …” Cinna walked out of his room at this moment. Compared to before, he had recovered a lot after

a few days of meticulous care. He was able to go around on his own freely.

“Mr. Shaffer, it’s late. Why are you still up?” Dustin walked toward him and helped him to the couch.

“I’ve been sleeping for the past decade. I’ve slept enough. Now, I want to look at this beautiful world that we’re in.”

Cinna flashed him a smile.

“You’ve just recovered. You should be resting,” Dustin advised.

“Don’t worry about me. I’m not dying anytime soon,” Cinna replied and suddenly changed the topic. “Your

Highness, I heard your conversation with Ms. Linsor. I think she’s right. You shouldn’t take this risk.”

“Mr. Shaffer, I know you care about me. Bus, as I’ve said, I’ll get to the bottom of it regardless of the

consequences,” Dustin said grimly.

“I’m worried. This trip is very dangerous. If there’s any accident, I wouldn’t be able to explain myself to your

father.” Cinna looked troubled.

“No pain, no gain. I’ve already prepared myself for what’s coming. You need not worry, Mr. Shaffer.” Dustin smiled.

“Sigh … I knew you wouldn’t listen to me.” Cinna sighed as he asked again, ” When do you plan to go?”

“As soon as possible. Tomorrow, I’ll go to Quandary Mountain to finally find out the truth!”
