Dustin frowned as he looked at the two dead bodies on the ground. Skilled martial artists had keen senses, alerting

them of any incoming attack. These heightened senses allowed their bodies to naturally dodge or block the attack.

Nevertheless, those two shots were very well-concealed. Besides, he wasn’t able to sense the shooter as the shots

fired meant him no harm.

He was indifferent toward the deaths of Eleanor Welch and Elena Forrest. However, it was an obvious challenge as

the shooter decided to kill them right in front of him.

Dustin raised his head and looked in the direction where the shots were fired. It was at a higher elevation where the

shooter could have a clear view of his target. However, the person had already left by now.

“Hurry! Get someone to block the crime scene right now! We must capture the shooter!” Adam quickly gave a

decisive order after regaining his composure.

“There’s no need for that. The shooter had already escaped.” Dustin raised his hand to stop Adam. Eleanor and

Elena were better off dead. There was no need to investigate their cause of death. The only regret was they died

too soon.

Dustin neither got valuable information from them nor was he able to properly express his anger toward them. It

was kind of annoying.

“Dustin, do you know who’s behind this?” Adam asked.

“I can’t say for sure, but I can make a guess,” Dustin said calmly, “If my guess is correct, the shooter might be

working for Anders Mosey.”

“Anders Mosey?” Adam raised an eyebrow and continued, “That’s weird. Why would he kill them? They weren’t

anyone important. Was it worth the effort?”

“It’s probably because of me,” Dustin said.

He added thoughtfully. “If I’m not mistaken, Anders Mosey must have found out about my real identity. So, he set

me up using these two women and got Fenley Hudson to do the dirty work of killing me.”

Dustin’s suspicion wasn’t unfounded. With his status, Anders Mosey didn’t have to jump through these many loops

to get his revenge on a normal person.

All he had to do was to give the order, and it’d be taken care of right away. He didn’t have to kill Dustin with a

borrowed knife.

The only possible explanation was that he had some concerns and wanted to avoid problems. A normal person

wouldn’t have this capability.

Anders Mosey was concerned about Dustin’s real identity.

“Anders Mosey is so bold and fearless. He actually had the guts to assassinate you even after finding out your real

identity! He really is disregarding the West Lucozian monarchy!” Adam narrowed his eyes, and his gaze became

more threatening.

Anders Mosey really needed to be taught a lesson for setting up a trap to trick Dustin!

“As long as my true identity remains a secret, Anders Mosey just needed to find two scapegoats to bear the blame.

If there’s any issue, it won’t be traced back to him,” Dustin explained calmly.

If he died tonight, the blame would only fall on Fenley Hudson, Eleanor Welch, and Elena Forrest. Dustin was certain

that regardless of tonight’s outcome, Eleanor and Elena would be killed to avoid future problems.

“What a sly fox! His plan was perfect!” Adam gritted his teeth.

Suddenly, he looked serious. “Dustin, if Anders Mosey has already found out about your identity, there might be

chaos in the next few days. You will be in deep waters then. Why don’t you leave the city for a while?”

Dustin may be of blue blood, but his royal lineage was also putting him in constant danger.

In the empire, more than half of the dignitaries saw the Prince of West Lucozia as a thief even though he had done

a lot for the empire. Their intentions could be hidden or obvious, but most of them couldn’t wait to hear about his

death.

As the heir to the Prince of West Lucozia, Dustin wasn’t treated any better. The assassination attempt a decade ago

was the best proof.

“It’s alright. What will happen, will happen eventually. I’m done hiding.” Dustin shook his head.

He added, “I want to learn the truth about the incident that happened years ago. Perhaps by using myself as bait, I

can lure out the scoundrels hiding in the dark and capture them one by one.”

“You’ve considered this plan carefully, haven’t you?” Adam asked with a slight frown.
