Chapter 386

“The Grey family,” the director looked at her and answered, “I heard that they moved to Pollister several years

ago.”

“I see.” Rachel looked down after she heard that and smiled coldly.

So it was the Grey family.

Sometimes, she couldn’t help but realize how small the world was.

Eleanor noticed the subtle change in Rachel’s mood and reached out to hold her hand.

Rachel turned to look at Eleanor with a smile, indicating her not to be worried.

But how could Eleanor not get worried?

Even as a bystander couldn’t let go of what had happened back then!

After the meal, Sophie wanted to leave.

The children watched them leave reluctantly and delivered them the fresh vegetables and fruits they had just

picked.

“Miss Cruise, look, is this your hair clip?” The director’s assistant walked up to Olivia and handed her the diamond

hair clip to Olivia in a handkerchief.

When Olivia saw the soil on it, she remembered how she fell on the back mountain. Her face immediately turned

red and she smiled awkwardly. “It’s mine.” “Since you’ve found it, shouldn’t you apologize to the child?” Sophie

looked at Olivia with a smile.

Her tone sounded gentle, but the words she said were quite intimidating.

When Olivia heard this, the smile on her face froze.

She looked at Sophie in disbelief.

Did she hear Sophie wrong?!

Mrs. Zane actually wanted her to apologize to a little child?!

Even if she had wronged the child, there was no need for her to apologize to a child in front of so many people!

Sophie just looked at her with a faint smile, but her eyes were all cold. “Miss Cruise, you don’t wanna do that?”

“Of course I’m willing to do that…” Olivia looked down to hide the resentment in her

eyes. She gritted her teeth and squatted down to look at Alex and said, “I’m

sorry that I wronged you just now. How about I give you this as an apology gift?” As she spoke, she handed the

diamond hair clip to Alex.

But Alex didn’t appreciate it at all and snorted. He pushed Olivia’s hand away and said, “I don’t care for it!”

Olivia’s beautiful eyes glistened frigidly. She dugged her nails into her palms as she resisted the impulse to teach

this brat a lesson.

“These children might be young, but they know how to distinguish between good and evil,” Sophie patted Alex on

the head and said slowly, “they can tell if other people are sincere or not.”

Of course, Olivia could understand what Sophie meant. However, in the current situation, she had no choice but to

admit she was wrong, “You’re right, Mrs. Zane.”

“Alright, it’s getting late now. We’d better get going.” Before Sophie left, she turned around and glanced at the

director who was following behind her. Sophie said to her, “Director, there’s no need to send me off. If you have

any problems, feel free to call me.”

They all went to the car and Rachel chose a seat by the window.

When the car started, they happened to pass by a Mercedes.

The half–opened car window revealed half of the man’s face.

The man still looked quite energetic and handsome for his age. He got the eyes of an eagle and he must be quite

gorgeous when he was young.

As if sensing Rachel’s gaze, the man suddenly turned around and looked in Rachel’s direction.

Her sharp and cold eyes carried an intimidating aura. It was as if an invisible hand was grabbing Rachel’s neck. She

felt a bit breathless and her whole body froze.

“Mr. Grey, we’re here,” the driver said.

The man in the backseat responded absent–mindedly, but his cold gaze was still fixed in the direction where the bus

had left.

Hans‘ eyes darkened as he said coldly, “Go and find out the information about that

car.”

Although that car was only passing by, the woman’s face somehow felt familiar to him.
