The next morning, Rachel washed up and went downstairs for breakfast.
While eating, she looked up at David. “Lend me your car later.”

home and have a good reunion dinner with our family.”
“Reunion dinner?” A mocking smile appeared on Rachel’s lips. “Do I know you very well?”
The bright light shone on Rachel’s flawless face, making the coldness between her – eyebrows even clearer.
Hearing her words, Lily choked on the words she had prepared.
She pondered for a moment before speaking again. “Rachel, Dad has already forgiven you for what happened back
then. Why do you have to take it to heart and cause our family to drift apart?”
Rachel sneered and said slowly, “Family? But where were you when I was left to starve and freeze in the snow?”
