“You’re here. Quick, come in,” Marietta called out to Caroline.
Caroline walked in, holding Kirk’s hand. Meanwhile, Aurora and Yvonne were still staring at Kirk.
Unsettled by this, Caroline coughed. “Mom.”
“Is this your… husband?” Yvonne asked. Suddenly, she understood why Caroline would rather stay with this broke
bum than get with Eddy.
While Eddy was rich beyond measure, he wasn’t as blessed in the looks department. On a scale of 100, Eddy could
easily get 98 points when it came to looks. However, the man before them now could get 1000 points.
Besides, it wasn’t just his looks. His bearing was also astounding. Yvonne thought about shifting her interest
