worried that if he goes off on his own, his temper might get the better of him. You've been such a help, Eugene."
Eugene smiled widely, his confidence growing. "It's no trouble at all. We'll be family soon enough."
He was thrilled at the thought of his relationship with Lydia progressing quickly after this situation was resolved.
