Tears fell down Lauren’s cheeks and landed on Landon’s back, piercing his heart painfully.
Lauren hadn’t fallen asleep yet.
She just wasn’t sure if her lover had really come back. She thou she was dreaming at first.
Landon turned around and hugged his wife, one hand clasped around the back of her head and
tenderly caressing her hair.
