Chapter 879 Enraged “You little brat! How dare you kill the top prodigy of my Origin Sword Sect! I'll take your d*mned life!” The one who let out that roar was none other than Devon.

He was heartbroken and seething with rage! Killian was Devon's prized disciple, the person he esteemed second only to his own children. Yet, shockingly, Killian had met his end at the hands of Emrys, so it was unsurprising Devon was mad.

Immediately, a surge of murderous intent charged toward Emrys from Devon.

A significant factor that drove Devon to act in such a way was the opportunity to use that reason as a pretext to eliminate Emrys, a potential future threat, right then and there.

As Devon made his move, Ruben was about to follow suit. However, Caden abruptly stopped him, causing a surge of panic within him. Angrily, he cursed, “Caden, you good- for-nothing! Get out of my way!” With an air of feigned regret, Caden said, “I'm sorry. | didn’t mean to block your way.” After all, Killian first destroyed Peter's Elixir field. When Emrys killed Killian, he could easily justify it as a moment of heated recklessness, claiming that in the heat of battle, fists and kicks had no eyes. As for them, the ‘outsiders, it was naturally inappropriate for them to interfere.

If Caden insisted on obstructing Ruben, it would be akin to openly having a falling out, which he didn’t want for the moment.

Thus, with a cunning quickness, he uttered an apology, feigning an accidental obstruction of Ruben. Although it only delayed Ruben for a second or two, it was enough for Devon to seize the opportunity and eliminate Emrys.

When Devon's murderous intent struck Emrys, a chill-flickered in Emrys* eyes, similarly flashing with a lethal intent.

In the palm of Emrys’ hand, a faint glimmer of light twinkled subtly.

If Emrys’ golden elixir field hadn't shattered, defeating Devon would have been a piece of cake, but, of course, he wasn’t afraid of Devon.

The overwhelmingly dominant Nameless Divine Art, coupled with the spirit fire devoured 1/3 by his index finger, equipped Emrys with the power to counter Devon. However, relying solely on those abilities to kill Devon proved to be somewhat challenging.

Aside from those hidden cards, Emrys had one truly terrifying ace up his sleeve, which was the Heavenly Fortune Mirror.

Within the Heavenly Fortune Mirror lay a hidden, overwhelming sword energy, more than enough to slay Devon.

Thus, when Devon charged over, he was undoubtedly courting disaster.

Emrys just about to send Devon straight to hell when suddenly was “Enough!” A booming voice suddenly echoed from afar, its terrifying resonance rolling over the area, instantly engulfing the Three Sword Sects.

The oppressive atmosphere left everyone gasping for breath.

“Old Mr. Youngblood! It's Old Mr. Youngblood!” Everyone from Three Sword Sects was utterly horrified.

Devon's actions also faltered, and a deep apprehension surfaced on his face. Almost without hesitation, he immediately reined in his murderous intent toward Emrys.

It was evident that the man known as Alexander Youngblood held a high position within Three Sword Sects. He only uttered a single sentence, without truly revealing himself. Yet, that was enough to instill fear in Devon, deterring him from taking the risk to kill Emrys.

“You lucky devil. I'll let you off the hook for now!” Devon said, his eyes filled with reluctance.

However, Emrys paid Devon no mind. Instead, he slightly furrowed his brows. From the powerful aura that | felt earlier, it was clear that the speaker was a cultivator who had reached Absolute-phase Golden Elixir Stage.

Emrys was genuinely taken aback because hadn't expected that among Three Sword Sects, there would be such a formidable figure hidden away.

However, Emrys’ surprise lasted only for a few moments before he quickly cto terms with it.

After all, Sword King Sect was once a thriving faction within Mount Kushburn. During the reign of Heavenly Sword King, countless swordsmanship masters thrived there. Later, Heavenly Sword King departed, taking a group of strong warriors with him. It was only 2/3 natural that one or two would be left behind.

While Emrys wasn’t surprised, he was somewhat perplexed. If such a powerful figure existed. why had Sword King Sect disintegrated into Three Sword Sects? Also, why hadn't the one who had reached absolute-phase Golden Elixir Stage stepped forward to take on the role of the sect leader?
