I returned to my pack when Caleb informed me about the rogue’s attack again. I could deal with Kane
the fu*ker later as he wouldn’t be able to do anything inside my pack. No matter what he was, he
wouldn’t be able to find the werewolves‘ packs.
I had contacts with the mafia, too. I had already asked them to find his history and catch him for me.
“Ken called me when he couldn’t reach you. He eavesdropped on the conversation between Liam and
his mate. They want to kill both of you,” Caleb told me, looking in between me and my wife.
I had asked Matilda to join me for the meeting. “I can’t believe he has changed this much to stoop so
low as killing me.”
“That’s why I hate fated mates‘ shit,” I spat.
She seemed a bit gloomy but soon masked it over with a smile.
“Alpha Mason and Alpha Sheldon want you to go on your honeymoon to stay away from them for a
while,” my Beta said.
“I’m dying to go on the honeymoon with my wife but not now. We can’t run away like cowards. Liam
won’t be able to do anything in my pack,” I grimly told them.
My wife nodded her agreement. “I agree. We should face them.”
“Finally, something you both agree upon,” Caleb smirked, teasing us.
Matilda rolled her eyes. “That’s why Serena doesn’t like you.”

refusing to go on honeymoon?”

neighbor pack faced.
“I want you to have a lot of pups so you won’t regret being stuck with just one stupid. son,” he bounced

“You’re retired. I’m not so I have duties and work to do,” I offered him a tight–lipped smile.
“Well, you’re the King now so you should have the heir to the throne, you know,” he tried to manipulate
me. “I can handle your work temporarily.”
“Please, leave, Dad,” I frowned.
I didn’t want to rush things with my wife. I wanted to take it slow and enjoy my time. with her before I

“Okay, I’m leaving,” he shook his head in disappointment. “Don’t forget to spend some time with your
