It was strange, Magdalen just couldn't shake the feeling that Gabriel and Sylvia were a match made in heaven.
At first, Sylvia had declined the invitation, but she couldn't withstand Magdalen's persistent enthusiasm and finally agreed to join
her.
They thought it was just another gathering with Magdalen's girlfriends until they stood outside the 9th Mansion and spotted Gabriel
and Evelyn stepping out of a car.
Dragging a dazed Sylvia along, Magdalen called out, "Gabriel."
Gabriel's gaze swept briefly over Sylvia's face, his features cool and imposing, "You and Estelle should just callbrother. Here,

Meanwhile, Sylvia greeted him, "Mr. Carnes."
That afternoon, he had told her they shouldn't meet up for a while, yet here they were, less than three hours later, face to face
again.
