She looked up at the man, her face flushed from the wine, making her appear even more enchanting. "No wonder Audrey can't get
over you. If | had heard you sing earlier, maybe | would have fallen for you too."
Gabriel gave her a nonchalant look. "Go to sleep."
Sylvia, her gaze slightly tipsy, asked, "Can | make one more request?"
"Go ahead."

Gabriel took the wine glass from her hand, scooped her up, and carried her towards the bedroom.
That night, Sylvia wanted to show her "appreciation" for Gabriel singing to her by putting on a bit of a show of respect. She
overslept in the morning but still got up, freshened up, and made a hearty breakfast.
While eating, Gabriel asked her, "Got a headache?"
Sylvia shrugged. "A bit!"
"Don't drink so much next time!" Gabriel advised.
Sylvia laughed, "Are you worried about my health, or do you just dislikeclinging to you?"
Gabriel paused, spoon in hand, and looked up at her.
Sylvia quickly conceded, "Okay, okay, whatever you say. | won't argue!"
Gabriel smiled slightly and continued with his soup.

him the car keys.

Upon reaching the office, Milanda brought over two cups of coffee, glanced cautiously at Gabriel, and whispered with a giggle,
"Boss, you've been looking so radiant these past few days!"
Sylvia raised an eyebrow. "Wasn't | always?"
