hesitate to give up?"
"Don't bring up your divorce again. You've never been honest about how much you paid her!"
Their argument escalated in front of Sophia.
Sophia, who had just returned from Mr. Waldo's pearl wedding anniversary, deeply moved by the celebration, was now utterly
speechless witnessing this couple's dispute.
Standing up, she suggested, "Maybe you two should talk this over. I'll just head to the restroom!"
The man, evidently embarrassed, offered a strained smile, "Of course, Sophia, take your time!"
As Sophia stood up and walked out, closing the door behind her, she caught the girl's voice, "Why were you staring at her? Do you
