The excitement in the room was palpable as the reporter exclaimed, “KING!”
“You are Miss KING?”
Estelle gave a slight nod, her gaze shifting to Yolanda, “How much do you think your boyfriend would pay Sophia to buy her off?”
Yolanda felt a chill under Estelle's piercing gaze, her voice shaking as she answered, “Somewhere around $2,000 to $3,000 for
sure!”
She wasn't foolish. Paying more would be senseless; better to spend that money on the diamond. She knew Connor well; he was a

“And how much is Sophia charging you for the ring design?” Estelle asked.
Yolanda knew this, quickly responding, “$2,500!”
“If Sophia decided to make the ring ugly on purpose because of your boyfriend's $2,000 bribe, you would likely stop working with
her in a heartbeat. So, why would she risk her reputation for a bribe when she could earn the money honestly? Does that make her
a fool?” Estelle’s voice was cold and clear, pressing Yolanda for an answer.
Under Estelle’s formidable presence, Yolanda found herself at a loss for words.
“Your boyfriend approaching Sophia is a fact, but | assure you, as a partner of this studio, Sophia did not accept any money from
him!” Estelle’s voice was icy, “Someone is trying to frher, to frour studio, and we will get to the bottom of this. But |
hope, Ms. Yolanda, that you can be more rational and not let yourself be used as a pawn.”
Yolanda’s eyes darted around, her previously bold demeanor dimmed, yet she still retorted with a sense of entitlement, “When will
you clear this up?”
“Instead of questioning us, perhaps you should be asking your boyfriend.” Estelle suggested.
“He’s not taking my calls!” Yolanda blurted out.
“And doesn’t that make you curious as to why?” Estelle pressed further.
Stunned, Yolanda’s expression froze before she hurriedly left the room.
The two journalists who had followed her exchanged glances, repeatedly apologizing to Estelle, “We're so sorry, Miss KING. We just
wanted to uncover the truth and clear your studio’s name. We had no other intentions.”
“Yes, yes, we wanted to clarify the situation. We truly believe in you and your studio.”
