Before Gabriel could answer, Grace said, “Gab, you should go with them. I'll feel better if you're there.”
Gabriel nodded. “No problem.”
Jenny then looked at Sylvia. “Sylvia, want toe?”
Sylvia thought for a moment. “No, that’s okay. I'll stay and keep Gracepany this afternoon.”
Gabriel kept his eyes on his food, his expression unreadable.
“Don’t worry about me,” Grace said with a gentle smile. “You should all go have fun. It's not often you get a chance to relax like

Jonas chimed in. “Yeah,e with us. The teacher might hold an extra class for the students this afternoon, so you'll be all alone if

Gabriel gave a quiet hum of acknowledgment and left.
Jenny propped her chin on her hand, gazing after him with a starstruck expression. “Even his back looks handsome.”
Jonas snickered. “Stop staring. You're drooling enough to create Niagara Falls.”
Jenny shot him a glare and stuffed a large spoonful of cake into her mouth.
After a half-hour break, the group gathered outside the manor at one o'clock. Sylvia had been with Grace, so she arrived just
before Gabriel did.
Jenny looked from Gabriel to Sylvia and back again, a grin spreading across her face. “Did you two plan to wear matching outfits?”
