Chapter 283 The Chaos in the Bar
Evelyn and Huston’s seemingly harmonious but distant
relationship lasted for almost a week. During this time, they went to work together every day, had meals
together, and
occasionally Huston worked late, but he didn’t stay out all

Feeling dizzy already, the scent made Evelyn even more
nauseous. She pushed him away and tried to head toward
the restroom, but the man grabbed her wrist before she could take a step. “Don’t leave. Let’s have a

Evelyn struggled but failed to break free. After drinking, she said impatiently, “I’m busy!”
“Oh, you have a bad temper. I like it.” As the man spoke, he put

Feeling disgusted, Evelyn was about to speak when the phone in her hand suddenly rang. She didn’t
have time to see who it was and picked it up. “Hello, who is it?”
On the other end of the line, Huston was driving home when
he heard Evelyn’s slurred voice. He immediately turned the steering wheel and stopped the car by the
side of the road.
Huston narrowed his eyes slightly, and a chill appeared in his sharp eyes. When he heard the noise
coming from the other end of the line, he asked coldly, “Where are you?”
“Me?” Evelyn glanced around. Before she could say anything,
the man behind her couldn’t wait to hug her. “Hey, beauty,
it’s not over yet. Come into my private room. It’s quiet over
there…”
“I’m not going. Don’t pull me…”
Just now, Huston was only worried, but now he couldn’t contain the surging anger in his body. The
thought of what might happen soon filled his eyes with a menacing, furious. glare that could make
anyone shudder. “Evelyn, I’ll ask you again, where are you right now?”
