Chapter 1020 Married

Fortunately, good news came soon. One day, Mandy heard hurried footsteps

in the hallway. She quickly got out of bed and approached the door. As

expected, she saw Jack in a rush, along with doctors and nurses, pushing

two beds toward the room next door.

Although they moved fast, Mandy caught a glimpse of the two figures on the

beds. It was Charlotte and Joe.

Both seemed terrible, but thankfully, they were still alive.

After a long while, Jack entered the room with a weary face.

Mandy hurriedly approached him and asked, “Is Miss Clinton safe now?”

Enter title…

Jack nodded, a faint smile appearing on his face. “Yes, those who kidnapped

Jack smiled, shaking his head. “Not just Miss Clinton, but Mr. Smith is also

crucial to me. What I’ve done is nothing in comparison.”

Mandy suddenly realized that no matter the situation, Jack always maintained

a calm demeanor, never blaming others.

“You should get some rest. I’ll watch over things here.”

After some recovery time, Mandy was feeling much better. Moreover, they

were just in adjacent rooms, so she could lend a hand if needed.

Perhaps truly exhausted, Jack took Mandy’s advice. But instead of leaving

the hospital, he sat down on the sofa in Mandy’s room and drifted into a deep

sleep.

Mandy sat before him, staring at his sleeping face for the first time.

She suddenly felt that if she could wake up to this face in her next life, she

wouldn’t mind.

Jack slept a long time, not waking up until late at night.

Waking up, he looked around in confusion and only relaxed when his gaze
