Chapter 765 Forgotten Memories
Joe nodded and asked Mrs. River to call Charlotte downstairs.
Soon after, Charlotte came down from upstairs.
Morgan discreetly observed her and suddenly said, “I would like to talk to her
privately; is that alright?”
Joe hesitated to look at Charlotte, who, after learning about Morgan’s identity,
agreed without hesitation.
The two went to Charlotte’s former study, where Morgan took the main seat at
the boss chair, gesturing for Charlotte to sit on the single sofa nearby.
After asking some basic questions, Morgan suddenly asked Charlotte, “Have
you had any regrets since you came back?”
Charlotte hesitated for a moment and shook her head, “No.”

could still feel their concern and love for her.
Morgan then conducted some professional tests on Charlotte and then left
the room.
Joe greeted her immediately and supported Charlotte, “Are you alright?”
Charlotte’s face was much paler than when she had entered, but she still
shook her head, “I’m fine.”
Joe looked at Morgan, who frowned slightly as if unsure whether to speak.
Charlotte looked at her and said, “It’s okay. Since it’s about me, you can tell
me the truth.”
Morgan frowned, “But this process will make you very uncomfortable.”
Charlotte agreed without hesitation, “So what? I’ve already lost my memory,
and I don’t want to be ignorant about my condition.”
Having said this, Morgan had no reason to stop her.
She sighed deeply, “According to my examination, she has indeed been
heavily exposed to Nusparin. Besides it, a very skilled psychiatrist has
hypnotized her to forget her memories.”
“Or perhaps not just hypnosis, but even psychological suggestion.”
She looked at Joe and said in a low voice, “This process must have been
very painful.”
“Actually, most people would have had a mental breakdown after such an
experience. But Mrs. Smith is still lucid, she’s incredibly strong.”
As Morgan examined, she felt surprised; according to Charlotte’s condition, she should have had a mental
breakdown already. But now, she only had some emotional issues and was still able to think independently. There
was not much difference between her and a normal person, which was extremely rare.
Hearing Morgan’s words, Charlotte didn’t think it was a big deal. She had
already guessed that she had probably had a rough time during her
disappearance.

He couldn’t imagine how much suffering Charlotte had endured in the places
he hadn’t seen.
Nor could he imagine what she would be like now if she hadn’t been able to
withstand it all.
After taking several deep breaths to calm his emotions, Joe finally asked,
“Can you cure her?”
Morgan shook her head solemnly.
“I don’t know much about hypnosis and psychological suggestion. And Mrs.
Smith’s condition is too serious for me to treat casually.”
Seeing Joe frown again, Morgan quickly added, “But I know someone who
might be able to help her.”
