Although Jack didn’t know who Derek was, he understood the words “gold
mine.”
“You… Are you saying… there’s a gold mine on this island?” Jack looked at
Charlotte in disbelief.

people.”

“Don’t worry. We can enjoy them first before we kill them. The boss won’t
blame us.”
The drone silently flew away and didn’t capture any more of their
conversation. But even with just these two short sentences, the men present
were filled with murderous intent.
Fortunately, Charlotte and Mandy paid no attention to this. They managed to
persuade Joe and Sharon, among others.
“No need to act on impulse; there will be plenty of opportunities to deal with
them,” Charlotte said to Joe, holding his hand.
When they returned to the villa area, Erik and Gorya happened to come out
and noticed that the faces of Sharon and the others looked very unpleasant.

Sharon placed the drone in front of Erik and informed him about the cave
incident.

would be successful.
Charlotte and Joe locked eyes. “Besides, if they have any intention to target
me, getting through this once means we have to remain vigilant for the next
time.”
