Chapter 206 Chaim’s Apology
Gloria tilted her head to glance at Chaim and then at Samara. She was smart enough not to speak
Gloria suddenly realized that this was not between her and Samara, but between Chaim and Samara.
Gloria was right.
Silence filled the room again. After a while, Chaim said, “I’m sorry that Gloria caused you a lot of
trouble.”
When Samara heard this, she snorted, “You are wrong. Ms. Humphrey is not the only person who
caused me trouble.‘
Chaim also caused Samara trouble.
After Samara finished her words, her lips curled into a smile.

Chaim suddenly realized that he did not know his ex–wife at all.
In those three years when Samara was a member of the Humphrey family, she was gentle and friendly.
Occasionally, she would argue with Gloria and the others, but she would quickly admit her mistakes
and apologize to them when Eric and Chaim got involved. She did not stand her ground.
Today, Samara did not come for their apology. From the moment she entered, she held her ground,
and she sneered at them whenever she spoke.
Samara would not accept their apology, but she still came.
Samara was not here to accept their apology. She was here to embarrass them.
After realizing this, Chaim became angry. However, the inexplicable sadness made him feel worse.
Chaim looked at Samara. His eyes darkened and his thin lips were pursed. His usually cold face was
now much colder. Gloria was a coward. Even if Samara scolded her now, she would not dare to retort.
Samara looked at Chaim and raised her eyebrows. She met his eyes and looked at him indifferently.
Samara thought that Chaim was about to get angry, but his manner relaxed. “Sorry, I admit that I did
something wrong.”
Chaim shouldn’t have been prejudiced by his first impressions and thought that Samara was a bad
woman. He shouldn’t have. joked about their marriage and ignored her feelings for him.
Samara was stunned for a moment. Chaim actually apologized.
If not for the tense and oppressive atmosphere right now, Samara would have wanted to laugh and ask
if Chaim had been possessed by a ghost.
What was going on? Chaim actually admitted that he had done something wrong.
However, Samara soon calmed herself down. She looked at Chaim again. “Apology not accepted.”

Chaim. She said slowly, “You said that you wanted to apologize to me again, so I came. After today, I
hope that I will not be related to anyone or anything in the Humphrey family.”
After she finished her words, Samara took her handbag and left.
They said that they wanted to apologize, so Samara came. However, it didn’t mean that she would
forgive them.
Samara would never forgive them.
They hurt Samara. She wouldn’t say “it doesn’t matter” to make them feel better.
Samara wouldn’t let Chaim get what he wanted.
Thinking of this, Samara couldn’t help but make a sarcastic smile.
