As soon as Agnes got home, she saw Nate coming over with a stack of documents.
“Here’s the info you asked for, Nate said.
Nate kept things simple and only said what’s necessary. It’s a habit she’s had for many years, always keeping her
words to a minimum. Now she had made great changes. Agnes remembered it took her a whole year to get Nate
to utter his first words to her.
Agnes flipped through the documents.
These were all the details on the busted officer Lundy, including his ID number, phone number, home address, and
family information.
Agnes didn’t expect Nate to dig up all this so quickly.
Now was the time to act. Agnes had worked for so many years and had always been very serious. Except for the
