Time passed, and Emily wandered around the ancient town for a day. She was tired and hungry However, she had

had already returned to the inn. They met in the living room and found that Emily was not there. “Mr. Greens,

where is Emily?” “Is she not with you?” Lucas asked in surprise. Obviously, both of them thought that Emily was with

“Mommy didn’t get lost, did she?” Ethan frowned and asked worriedly. “I’ll give her a call,” Lucas said worriedly.

With an umbrella in hand, Lucas carefully searched for Emily in the rain. The rain soaked his clothes, and he

Emily also saw Lucas not far away, and the tears she had been holding back suddenly fell.

He walked forward and placed the umbrella on Emily’s head. He pulled her into his arms and comforted her, “I’m

sorry, I came late.”
