"Argh!" Groaning, Athena covered her face and turned off the table lamp. Darkness fills in the room, even though the window is
open, the rays of moonlight flickering inside.
A pointed sound of footsteps clicked her ears from a close distance. Dominic came back. As tomorrow was the function, he had
a lot of work to do which kept him there till midnight.
As she heard the sound of the knob twisting, she closed her eyes shut, pretending to be asleep. She didn't know why she was
hiding from him but as the time kept ticking for the final day, her nervousness kept growing.
She heard his footsteps inside the room. Amidst the darkness and silence, those footsteps and his existence were enough to
give her chills. However, she remained stable on the right side of the bed.
His footsteps were heard closer to her and she could feel his existence much more clearly. Her heart throbs against her chest
with the burning silence. It feels so
weird. She knew that he was staring down at her. Her wolf was excited for the hide and seek of the game.
She remembered those nights when he used to stare at her when she used to be fast asleep. One day when she realised him
doing that, she deliberately pretended to be asleep only to experience the beautiful feeling.
But at that moment, it gave her only anticipation. She gulped down, hoping he'll eventually move away but the air around her got
heavier and heavier as she felt the distance between them decreasing.

She felt his hands slowly land on her torso, making her shiver against the bed. Her throat dried up as she breathed heavily,
responding to his touch. Raw heat rushes through her veins as his hands slowly prowl tracing all over her.
"How was the shopping today?" He asked casually, closer to her face.
She found no reason to keep pretending anymore and opened her eyes wider at his silhouette. Amidst the sluggish darkness,
she could see his structure clearly.
"What's keeping you awake at this hour?" His soft question caressed her face and through the moonlight she could see the
turmoil on his face as well..
"I-I wasn't feeling sleepy.." Athena mumbled, not knowing what else to or how to explain things she was feeling.
"It's been a stressful day. You can't handle stress unless you're worried about something. What are you worried about?" Dominic
asked while still caressing her face soothingly.
"Why would I be worried?" She kept talking without looking at him while his hand kept caressing her body, making it hard for her
not to moan in pleasure.

"Worried... hm, is it about the fear of something happening tomorrow and you are thinking how to prevent it yourself and be the
hero?" He asked, catching her immediately.

"I guess you should res-..", before she could even finish half of what she wanted to say, her vision got dark with a fabric landing
on her eyes.
