washing her face and brushing her teeth.”

“And we woke up this early because we were too excited.” Louis straightened up and

showed him his tablet. “You have to take a look, Daddy. Many of the malicious comments

on Auntie’s account have disappeared.”

“I think people realized what they did was wrong, so they deleted it,” Emily continued,

shaking her head and legs. She was too happy.

Taking a deep breath, Frank leaned against the pile of pillows. Really? Let me see.”

Louis handed over the tablet and then leaned too against the pillow. There are still

Frank followed Louis’ index finger, read the comment. “I just watched the twins’ video.

crooked smile.

“Now,” Emily climbed onto her father’s chest and blinked sweetly, shall we prepare to visit

Philip’s apartment? I think it’s okay if we skip the exercise once. Am I right, Daddy?”

Frank imitated his daughter’s expression. “Why do you want to go

there?”

“We want to entertain Auntie!”

“Yes!” Louis put away his tablet and lay down on his stomach. “Auntie should know that

Frank chuckled. “You guys can’t wait to attend their wedding, hmm?”

The twins nodded. “Yes! We can’t wait Philip to be our uncle.”

Seeing their father wrinkle his nose, Louis and Emily laughed.

“We don’t smell that bad, Daddy!” Emily patted Frank’s arm.

Seeing her brother squirming, Emily burst out laughing. With her tiny fingers, she

launched an attack on Frank. “Come on, Louis! We can’t lose. Attack Daddy!”

However, a second later, she writhed too. Her laughter boomed and her face turned red.

“You have dared to plot against me. Accept the consequences.

Instantly, shrieks and laughter filled the air. Kara, who had just come out of the bathroom,

smiled when she saw them. That sight never failed to warm her heart.

When she woke up, Barbara immediately looked for water. Her throat, was dry, either

because of not drinking enough or shedding too many

tears.

However, when she left the room, her intentions were shattered. Her attention was drawn

to the man lying on the couch. “Philip?”

Her voice was too hoarse and soft. After clearing her throat, she approached.

“Philip?”

Barbara touched his arm. Philip’s lids immediately lifted. Seeing his lover’s pale face, he

got up from his position. “Barbara, do you need anything?”

“Why are you sleeping here?”

Philip blinked for a moment. He glanced at the clock. It was already morning. “I don’t

remember. Maybe, because this couch is too comfortable?”

tried to smile but failed. The awkwardness had chilled

her nerves.

Meanwhile, Philip’s lips curled up. His eyes were soft, reluctant to look away from his

lover’s face.

“Barbara, do you know that you’re so beautiful when you just wake up?

Barbara’s eyes widened. Her breath hitched, not ready to accept such a sweet remark.

“W-why are you suddenly praising me?” She rubbed her face, making sure there was

nothing strange stuck there.

“I just want you to know,” Philip whispered hoarsely.

Barbara blushed even more. She must find another topic to discuss

or she would turn into the reddet deratio
