As Rhea removed a slightly yellowed kraft paper bag from the inside and turned around, Lily saw a small jar inside. However,

The door made a crisp clicking sound and automatically locked when she shut it. Rhea held the paper bag, turned to look at the
two, and laughingly said, “You guys didn’t try to peek when | entered the passcode, did you?”
She was half-joking and half-serious.
Mike chuckled coldly. “You blocked our view so carefully. Who could we have seen it?”

After a pause, he added, “Plus, the passcode to the lab changes daily. The passcode you use might be one-off.”
When he said the last sentence, he looked at the “boss” to observe his reaction.
Rhea smiled. “Hey, you're right! You can only use it once.”
“So, don’t waste your energy, okay? Now that we're a team, we should focus on ensuring the experiment's success for the sake of
glory!” Although Rhea said so, she did not hand over the paper bag.
Lily looked at her and did not try to take it but turned to the man instead. “So she’s my assistant?”
The man nodded.
“Why do | feel it's the other way round, and I'm her assistant instead?” Lily chuckled and mockingly continued, “Who will be in
charge when my experiment begins?”
“You, of course!” the man answered without hesitation. With an elbow on the armrest of his chair, he propped up his slightly
distorted chin. Although his voice sounded awful and hoarse, it was unwavering.
“In that case...” Lily's face stiffened as she said harshly, “Givethe document.”
Rhea was unwilling.
“Are you disobeying my order?” Lily raised her brow, saying, “I don’t need an insubordinate assistant to impede my progress.
Please getsomeone who will follow my instructions.”
“Here.” Rhea reluctantly handed the document over. “Don’t tellthe information isn’t complete this time.”

Lily glanced blandly at her but did not mind her attitude. She took and unwrapped it and noticed the document's weight and
thickness.
“It contains all the information on R10. I'll be expecting results within five days, got it?” The man leaned forward and held up five
fingers while looking at Lily.
Mike wanted to object because five days were too short.
‘So many experiences have failed before this. Five days are simply not enough!’
However, Lily’s crisp voice readily answered before he could say anything, “Okay! Five days then.”
Rhea snorted a laugh. “You think too highly of yourself.”
‘She’s underestimating the experiment’s difficulty level. Most importantly, she will pay for her stupidity and arrogance!”
