“I just want you to have a meal with me,” Lucas said, his voice low and husky, as he carried Belinda toward the
dining table.
“I'm not eating! Putdown!” Belinda protested, wriggling in his arms.
Lucas gently set her down in a chair, firmly holding her shoulders. “You're eating this meal with me, whether you
like it or not,” he said.
“Oh, really?” Belinda let out a cold laugh. “And if | refuse, Mr. Clark, what's your grand plan forthen?”
“Then I'll feed you!” Lucas shot her a glare, his tone sharp and determined.
