The worker chuckled awkwardly. “This ain’t his stuff If you don’t believe me, you can open the boxes and see for
yourself”

Cornelia quickly handed Patricia a tissue.

“Patricia, I know you’re still attached to the Hartleys, and to Marcus. But I also know you’re too proud to go back to
him. So until you decide what to do, you can stay here as long as you want”
Cornelia’s words comforted Patricia. She wiped her tears away and said, “Nelly, thank you.”
