She had discussed the marketing manager position with Noah beforehand. Other than the core technology, one

Yesterday, Noah had accidentally exposed that his foreign business partner would be starting work today, so

After the meeting, Noah walked Chloe to the marketing department. He whispered in her ear, "There are a few
difficult individuals in Marketing. You don't have to suffer in silence if they slight you. Just go ahead and fire
them."
Chloe blinked. "What if they're the top salesperson?"
"If they bully you, we can get rid of them even if they're our cooperative partners. We can do without their tiny
bit of money,” Noah said gently.
After a pause, she nodded firmly. "Okay, I'll make them pay instead of suffering in silence."
Everyone in the group knew that Chloe had a special relationship with Noah because of the morning meeting.
Besides, she was Exotic Star's product ambassador. The moment she walked into the marketing department, a
swarm of people started introducing themselves. One bootlicker even hooked an arm around hers and addressed
her intimately.
It was rather sickening and made one’s skin crawl.
Chloe forced out a laugh and retracted her arm. She sent them off and closed the door to her office, then went
through the department members’ information. The person who had held her arm earlier was Dulcie Thatcher,
the number two salesperson. The number one was a middle-aged woman called Frieda Berlin who had ignored
Chloe. The others were ordinary people with ordinary characters and achievements.
She did not care much about these people and spent the afternoon drafting a new marketing plan. She then
posted it in the department's group chat. Not many people replied to her message because it was nearly tto
get off work. Deciding to go over the plan with the department the next day, she set off for the hospital.
Jasper was already there, leaning against the door of the ward. He wore what was clearly the uniform of a private
academy. Glancing at his wristwatch, he said aloofly, "It's five minutes past six. You're late."

Jasper looked at her with slight hesitation.

"Daddy argued with Xavia yesterday. You can take advantage of the situation."
