Chapter 2784

“Doesn't she like you? Is she still unwilling even after you suggested marrying her?” Toby was

exasperated. “Did you apologize properly?”

“I did,” Monte said frustratedly. “I feel like Eliza has turned into a different person. She used to

believe everything I say.”

Toby said coldly, “If she doesn’t believe you, so be it. Since she didn’t accept our goodwill, she

shouldn’t blame me for being unkind.”

“What are you going to do, Dad?”

“You don’t need to care about this anymore. You can’t do anything right anyway.” Toby hung up

the call.

Monte was utterly sullen as he stared at the phone.

Canberra Airport.

A middle-aged foreign man over 40 years old walked out of the exit in a gentlemanly manner with a young

assistant.

“Welcome to Australia once again, Mr. Sherman.”

Charity and her team got into the car. she shook the middle-aged man’s hand.

“Wow, President Robbins, you’re more charming and beautiful than I thought.” The man eyed the young woman

with a slender figure in front of him. “You look so young.”

“Yes, I’m only 25 years old.” charity smiled and nodded. “We’ll have to count on you for Neeson Corporation’s new

products.”

Sherman smiled. “If it weren’t for the antique you sent over, I wouldn’t have come. I heard you say you were good

friends with charity during our call.”

“That’s right. We knew each other when we were young.”

“No wonder.” There was a look of regret on Sherman’s face, “she was the only one who knew that I’ve been fixated

on that antique for years. To be honest, I found it very regretful after those unfortunate things happened to Charity

and Director Neeson. However, after Thomas and Sarah took over Neeson Corporation...”

Sherman let out a tsk. “They’re fools. They never thought of managing Neeson Corporation properly and only

wanted to rob it empty. I didn’t want to work under those people, so I brought my team and left Australia. Honestly

speaking, I was utterly disappointed in Neeson Corporation.”

A hint of sadness flashed across charity’s eyes. “ Thomas was an idiot. That was why Director Neeson didn’t give his

only son the company. However, fate toyed with them. Director Neeson and Charity passed away young, otherwise,

Neeson Corporation wouldn’t have ended up in this state.” 1

“That’s right.” Sherman sighed. “I hope Neeson Corporation can rise again in your hands. I’ll develop new products

for Neeson Corporation again. My disciples will stay here and help you if it's successful.”

“I’m truly grateful.”

Charity brought Sherman and his disciple to have a meal using a designated car. At 8:00 p.m., she brought them to

the bar to have fun.

Sherman and Mike had bold personalities and liked lively atmospheres.

Charity’s arrangements suited their preferences. 1

“Wow. I like this bar’s atmosphere” Sherman leaned on the railing on the second floor with a

wine glass in his hand. He gazed at the dance floor downstairs and said loudly, “President

Robbins, I realize you know me pretty well. We had my favorite food for dinner, and the wine

we’re having tonight is the Romanee- Conti that I like. You must’ve spent a lot of money.”

“Charity told me about those things in the past.” Charity raised her glass.

“Let’s toast to Charity and hope she’s doing well in the afterlife,” Sherman said sincerely.

Charity smiled and finished her wine.

Just after she finished drinking, she saw a few men walking up the stairs.

The man surrounded in the middle had a tall figure. He was handsome, and a few buttons on his

black shirt were left open. His dark hair was scattered on his forehead, making him look unruly.

With such looks and the lights shining on top of his head, anyone passing by would receive a

critical blow by his good looks with just a glance.
