Skyler’s handsome face suddenly looked a little off-colored. His voice was stiff, “I was just asking, don’t

overthink it.” Jocelyn’s voice was lukewarm, “Okay, I didn’t. President Moore, what else can I do for you?”

Skyler almost vomited blood, he had never felt so aggrieved before. Why did he feel like he was in a

hurry to talk to her?

He said bluntly as if he did not care, “No, but Jim said he wanted to get together tonight. He hopes that I

can ask you over and it depends on you if you want to go or not.” Jocelyn frowned. “Will it involve alcohol

again?”

Skylèr’s expression was unpredictable. “What do you mean again?” Jocelyn’s tone sounded more

helpless, “President Moore, you were drunk last night, did you forget everything?” Skyler instantly

thought of what happened last night and his voice suddenly sounded a little uncomfortable. “I drank too

much last night and I blacked out.”

Jocelyn was even more helpless. She knew that this person must have forgotten, otherwise, he would

not be able to talk to herself so casually today.

She said, “President Moore, you drank too much last night and you’re going drinking again tonight? I told

my friends that we’ll have dinner together, so I really don’t have time at night. If you want to go, drink

less.”

Skyler’s expression looked stiff. “Which friend? Do I know them?”

Skyler was asking this question again and Jocelyn figured it would not be easy to con him again. So, she

could only tell the truth, “I’m going with Director Lang and Lexie.”

Only then did Skyler remember that these three graduated from Mauve University together.

the contract.” Jocelyn said it lightly, but Davis’ face turned unpleasant. “Did he purposely make things

He knew what methods Dan wanted to use against Jocelyn. If Jocelyn was not lucky, she would not be

able to sit here unharmed today.

Jocelyn was now Prosperity’s hottest designer, so Dan wanted to hurt Jocelyn to slap Skyler in – the

face.

He was so extremely despicable!

Davis’ face darkened.

Jocelyn was a little helpless. “Director Lang, I know you’re worried about me, but I’m fine, so don’t be

angry. I’ll be careful about this kind of contract in the future.”

Davis nodded. Then, he thought about it and said, “You just fell into his trap accidentally last night. In

fact, this contract has a lot of restrictions on the second party and Dan is not that stupid. He knows he

won’t deceive you with the same excuse again unless he really wants to continue to customize the

inspiring authority.”

“Mr. Lester, you’re wrong. I’m indeed not interested in Skyler, but there’s a jewelry designer in Prosperity

who Skyler cares about a lot.”
