Marcus had not gotten the chance to punish Yelena for locking Cordelia up in a basement with rats.

lose her balance and fall to the floor in front of everyone.
When she lifted her head, she saw that Mr. Rudd was looking at her like a clown.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Rudd!” Yelena went forward. “She’s my sister. Her mother has a mental illness, so
there’s a loose screw in her head!”
