Lumma believed Lucas was an intelligent person. If she claimed to have not heard anything, it would be suspicious.

Instead of denying, she chose to admit with slight modification, “Well, I did hear something about you. I know your

job isn’t easy, so please don’t spend money on me anymore. Save the money and enjoy life when you’ve

accumulated enough.”

Money was something Adam never lacked in his world. He wouldn’t understand its true importance to Lumma.

Nevertheless, he was willing to listen to her. “Okay.”

Lumma said, “Get some rest. We’ll talk another day.”

name, “Lumma…”

On Lumma’s side, after ending the conversation, she continued to stare at the screen, reading Lucas’s messages.

Although they were only texts, she sensed that Lucas wasn’t in a good mood today.
