Leonard and Ben stood there, looking at Sarah and then at Theresa, who said, “You two go to your room.”
Ben nodded and headed inside.
Sarah saw that and followed them, “Leonard and Ben, wait for me.”
It looked as if she knew the two kids well.
She was about to go inside when Theresa reached out and grabbed her by the back of her clothes, stopping her
from going inside. “Enough. Hurry up and get out of here. You’ll get into trouble if Charlie sees you.”
Sarah pushed her hand away. “Theresa, why are you stopping me? What’s wrong with me. wanting to talk to the
kids? Do you think that the kids are yours because Charlie let take
you care of them? You are a woman with ulterior motives. I can see that you’re trying to take. advantage of the
kids. You don’t love them at all. You’re just using them as a tool for you to get in Charlie’s good graces.”
Theresa heard the accusation and glanced at Sarah. “So what? I just think that you will disturb the kids. They have
to study. They’re not here to play with you. Sarah, you’re really annoying, you know.””

Sarah said, “I brought you a gift.”
With that, she opened her bag and took out the gift she bought for them. It was Lego, which she thought the kids
would love.
However, the two little ones didn’t even look at it when Sarah took it out.

The two little ones were twins and they looked exactly the same, so Sarah actually couldn’t quite
tell them apart.
She mistook Ben for Leonard.
