The corner of Theresa’s mouth twitched, “What I wanted?”
“You don’t mind who I am with anyway. Besides, you’re so close to Cristina that you can even take advantage of my
feelings to help her, so isn’t it a favor to you that I treat her nicely?”
Theresa was speechless. It turned out that it was because of that remark of hers after all. Theresa stared at
Charlie, feeling angry and uncomfortable. She hated herself for having fallen for him so easily. But should she
explain to him and forgive him despite such an outrageous thing he had done tonight, which had deeply shamed
her in front of the family? Looking at Charlie, she said in despair, “Then you shall be with Cristina! That’s what I
want now.”
Charlie looked at her, “What did you say?”
“Didn’t you say that you will do whatever I want you to do? I want you to be with Cristina now, shouldn’t you be with

“I’m going back to rest.” Theresa stood up, put the book she hadn’t finished back on the table, and walked out of

After a shower, Theresa went to check on the two children and found that Leticia had already put them to bed. She
stayed with the two babies for a while before going back to the bedroom and directly went to sleep on the couch,
ignoring Charlie who was taking a shower.
