Chapter 1524

The couple walked towards Liam and Caprice.

Liam saw them and greeted them indifferently, “Uncle John, Aunt Sherry.”

Both John and Sherry responded with a smile.

John then said to Caprice, who was still lying down on Liam’s lap, “Caprice, come here. We’ll take you out for some

fun. You’re disturbing Liam.”

The moment John’s words subsided, Liam helped the girl up.

Caprice was like a marshmallow as she went limp and leaned back on Liam. She pouted and said, “Caprice doesn’t

want to go out. Caprice wants to play with Liam.”

John choked upon hearing her words.

Sherry then said, “Caprice, Liam has his own things to do. He can’t play with you all day.”

Caprice leaned on Liam’s shoulder and grumbled, “Caprice is not playing. Caprice just wants to be with Liam.”

Sherry did not know how to react or what to say.

John frowned. He wanted to pull the girl away from the boy, but she swiftly clung

onto the boy’s arm, stunning the man.

The atmosphere in the glass room became awkwardly quiet.

The awkward silence was broken by the screech from the door when Odell and Sylvia came in.

Odell said with a smile, “If she likes to play with Liam, why not let him take her

around?”

John smiled. “Wouldn’t it trouble Liam?”

Odell looked at his son and said, “Not at all.”

Liam sighed subtly.

The girl was his mother’s best friend’s daughter, and she was cute. More importantly, she was much quieter than

his sister and brother, and other than being overly clingy, there was nothing wrong with accompanying her.

Otherwise, he would have thrown Caprice back to her own parents,

John awkwardly chuckled. “If that’s the case, why not?”

Odell curled his lips. “Why don’t we go for a walk?”

After all, the garden had many other amusing attractions.

Isabel and Flint, who had just been lectured by their father, continued playing around the garden with Queenie.

Sylvia and Sherry found a cart–racing attraction that was suitable for adults as well.

Odell and John were not interested in the attractions, so they sat down at a cafe and discussed business.

The day went by in the blink of an eye.

When the sky finally turned dark, Sylvia and Sherry brought the kids to the coffee shop to rendezvous with the men.

Liam and Caprice were relaxing on the couch at the cafe.

Liam was reading a book while Caprice slept soundly leaning on his shoulder.

John wanted to carry the girl away, but Flint ran over and reached them before he

could.

The boy cried at Caprice, “Caprice, wakey, wakey!” He even shook the girl’s hand, trying to wake her up faster.

Caprice opened her eyes almost immediately.

John froze and stared at Flint coldly.

Flint did not notice the expression on the man’s face. He reached out to Caprice and wanted to hold her hand.

“Caprice, I’ll bring you to get some nice food.”

Caprice responded by hugging Liam tighter, brazenly signaling to Flint that she did not want to go with him.

Flint sighed and pouted. “Sigh. My brother is boring. Why do you like to stick with him so much?”

Liam, who was reading his book, looked at his brother expressionlessly.

Afraid, Flint immediately fled and hid behind Sylvia.

The scene amused both Sylvia and Sherry.

Odell also curved his lips in delight.

Only John pursed his lips tightly when he saw Caprice hug Liam tightly.

There was a lodging area located in the center of the garden, and they were all suites prepared specifically for

families.

After dinner, the two families arrived.
