Carl wanted to punch Aiden’s face and break his legs. He strode towards the door.
Sherry bolted up and called to him, “Stop!”

Sherry limped forward and held him back. “I am already thinking of a way to deal with him. Do not mess with him

Since you are the one who closed the deal, you are responsible for leading the meeting. Be prepared. You have less
than two hours.”
Carl instantly felt reluctant “Sis, I don’t like meetings. I closed the deal, but the credit belongs to our entire
department and you. Why don’t you lead the meeting? I’ll just be a participant.”
“No. Go get prepared, or I will call your mother right away.” Sherry said as she glared at him. Carl pursed his lips.
“Fine.”
He was not in a hurry to leave. Instead, he asked her, “Sis, how’re your face and your leg now?” Sherry said, “My
face is okay now, but my leg still hurts a little. It’s going to be fine.”
Carl watched as she tapped her keyboard diligently He added, “Did John know you were beaten. up?
Sherry’s dancing fingers on the keyboard froze for a moment. She said, “He’s the one who saved me, or else I
would’ve been talking to you from a hospital bed.”
Carl’s eyes flickered. “I see.”
He wished he was the one to save her, but at least she was away from harm. Otherwise, he dared not even
imagine what would have happened to her.

He went silent for a moment before he wore a bright smile. “T’ll go get prepared. See you in the meeting room
later.”
Sherry nodded. “See you.”
Two hours later, Sherry arrived at the main meeting room with her assistant
Carl was already there and was slouching in the main seat
Sherry sat in the first seat to his right.
Then, the department leaders and their subordinates who were involved in the two projects arrived one after
another Aiden and Caden attended as well. They were not required to actively participate in the two projects, but
they were involved in a minor part of it, so it was normal to see them there.
Only Ron had nothing to do with the two projects and came uninvited. Sherry assumed he simply came to observe
