“We’re planning to hold a banquet tonight. It’ll be at home, so you should attend.”
Mindy’s tone was cold. One would think that Silvia owed her a lot of money if they did not

Mindy could not stop smiling as everyone pleased and flattered her. Pride filled her eyes,
she still pretended to be humble.
