Sera stopped teasing. She whipped out her phone and searched for local news. She then handed the phone to

Harmony. “You got on the headlines.”

Harmony took the phone and had a look. Her mind buzzed. “That’s fast.”

“Award-winning actress on the red carpet with mysterious magnate. A loving couple,” said Sera. That was the

headline. Harmony’s cheeks started to burn. These people make up clickbaits all the time.

“You’ve made ripples in the industry back home. And you just established your position more because of this trip.”

Since Harmony was in this industry, she knew that if someone wanted to be famous, they had to have acting skills,

exposure, and status. She got a lot of offers from a lot of rich guys to help her out, but she didn’t take any of them.

That was why, even though she had the looks and skills, she was still a C-lister. If it wasn’t because of her last film

becoming a phenomenon, she would never have gotten that award. “Sera, just focus on the movies, make more

money, and have a nice retirement,” said Harmony.

Sera nodded, touched. “Sure.” She scrolled through her phone and saw another piece of news released by a media

outlet.

Shocking news. Award-winning actress attending runway wearing last season’s dress. A disgrace? If you can’t take

the heat, get out of the kitchen!

She was mad, but she didn’t want Harmony to see that and ruin her mood.

She checked Harmony’s dress. It was beautiful, but the fashion industry was just that stringent. Last season was last

season. Anyone who wore last season’s items would be discriminated against. If Harmony could wear the latest

dress, she would be able to prove these trolls wrong.

Sera had added Ezekiel’s number to her contacts. Now, she wanted to ask the guy for a favor and see if he could

lend Harmony a new dress. It should be easy enough for him. She forwarded the news to Ezekiel and texted, ‘Could

you do me a favor, Mr. Weiss? Do you have any way to get the latest dress? The media back home is mocking

Harmony en masse.

Ezekiel was on his way back to the hotel. He picked up his phone to check the message when he heard the

notification ring. He frowned. He was a little miffed that the entertainment section was mocking Harmony over the

dress she wore.

Ezekiel texted, ‘Leave it to me.’ A simple answer, but one filled with power.

Sera was delighted to see that reply. I expected nothing less from a guy like him. The media back home is going to

be proven sorely wrong. Sera didn’t tell Harmony about it. The girl wasn’t exactly a bold person. She wouldn’t take

advantage of this connection, but Sera had to do it to prove those trolls back home wrong. Fortunately, Ezekiel said

yes.

Sera took Harmony to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Harmony was starving. She took the menu, her eyes shining.

Sera took the menu away from her. “You’re going to a ball tonight. Watch your portions.”

“But I can’t even smile if I don’t eat.” Harmony’s face scrunched up.

“You’re not going to even get half-full, you hear me?” Sera ordered a diet meal for Harmony. The portion was

pathetic.

Harmony heaved a sigh and did as she was told. But there should be food at the ball, right? Harmony’s phone rang.

She picked it up and nervously said, “It’s Ezekiel. Why’s he calling so soon?”

“Just take the call,” urged Sera.

Harmony smiled and picked it up. “Hi, Mr. Weiss,

“Give me your location. I’ll pick you up,” said Ezekiel, his voice jazzy.

“Now?” Harmony wanted to say it was just 6.10PM, and it was too early. However, Sera shot her a look that said,

‘Don’t ask questions.

“Now,” said Ezekiel.

Harmony smiled. “I’ll send you the address.” She only hung up once Ezekiel said alright. She clutched her chest. Her

heart was thumping furiously.
