“We’re coming up on South Bay Village.” The driver nudged Barlow back to reality.
Barlow blinked his eyes open and took in the view outside the car window.
Once they reached the destination, he paid the fare, and the taxi driver sped off.
After a quick chat with some locals, Barlow had no trouble finding the program’s crew.
By that time, Jack had wrapped up his filming and was catching his breath off to the side.

“She’s at dinner with Donn Boyd from Lewis Group,” Jack replied.

Barlow frowned, recalling something Rosalynn had mentioned.
“Where did they go?”

Was this just random chance or something more calculated?
“No idea.” Jack shrugged.
