“Mr. Hughes, you promised that you would make me an A-List star. So why did you let Valeria become
the global spokesperson?”
Brian’s hand paused in its writing, and he lifted his eyes slightly to meet Eleanor’s gaze. “Becoming an

Drawing nearer, Eleanor pleaded, “But have you considered how others will perceive me? People in

relations team to spread the word that your schedule was too packed to accommodate the role of

Rosalynn stood at the door, silently clutching the documents in her hands.
