Chapter 824 It’s My Fault
After Old Master Lancer and Rosalie greeted each other, they discussed the project. Rosalie took over Yves’
job and showed old Master Lancer around the rest of the departments in the research institute.
Soon, it was noon, and the visit ended. Rosalie booked a table at the restaurant, and they headed for lunch.
“You mentioned something that came up before you came, what happened?”
When they walked out of the research institute, Xander casually approached Rosalie and asked with concern.
“You were late. The Dr. Jacobs I know is always punctual.”
Rosalie smiled. “Nothing serious. The kids were throwing a tantrum.”
Xander did not think much about it. He put on an understanding smile as he nodded. “T understand it’s
difficult to have kids at home.”

Rosalie and Xander laughed and approached Old Master Xander to walk by his side.
Yves was not familiar with Xander and old Master Lancer.

Looking at Rosalie speaking casually with Xander and how old Master Lancer admired Rosalie, he felt a strange
feeling rising in him.
Yves was in the position of an admirer before Rosalie all this while. He just watched her silently from a distance.
He knew many excellent men had crushes on Rosalie, including Leon and Byron. Now, even Xander was showing
some interest in Rosalie.
Yves felt he was nothing compared to them.

Rosalie if they wanted.
As that thought flashed through his mind, Yves clenched his fist, and his gaze turned gloomy.
He had to admit he was a little jealous.
Seeing so many outstanding men around Rosalie made him want to be a successful man like them and assist
Rosalie. He even dreamed of the day when he could be someone Rosalie could admire.
“Dr. Graham, why are you walking so slowly?” old Master Lancer looked behind and asked.
Yves snapped out of his deep thought and suppressed his emotion. Then, he strode toward them and kept a step
away from them, expressing his respect.
They took a seat when they were at the restaurant Rosalie booked.
“There’s another purpose for my visit today,” old Master Lancer suddenly spoke.

Old Master Lancer said seriously, “There was so much public opinion on the internet, and it was my fault. I
should’ve asked Xander about the truth, then considered whether to let you meet.”
Rosalie quickly said, “That matter was because of me. Even if we hadn’t met, Miss Hudson would still find
trouble in other ways. Grandpa Lancer, please don’t apologize.”
However, Old Master Lancer ignored her and continued, “The cause of the matter is the Lancer family.
However, we didn’t help much. Byron was the one who settled this matter. By the way, I have to thank him
for resolving this matter.”
Rosalie felt her heart skip a beat, she frowned but did not know what to say.
After all, she was not in the position to speak for Byron if old Master Lancer insisted on thanking Byron.
