Chapter 427 He Will Never Let Her Go, Even in Death

At Kundin Airport, Radley’s car pulled up inside, and he immediately rushed in after getting out of the car. The

airport security guards quickly approached but were held back by Connor, who showed them his credentials.

The security guards stopped at once, and Radley went straight to the front desk, asking, “Which flight from here to

Mutrya?”

The staff immediately replied. The one that just took off, HA9081, is a direct flight to Mutrya. As for the later

flights…”

Radley’s face immediately darkened. When he stormed into the airport, a plane had just taken off from the sky.

Matthew couldn’t have stayed at the airport for too long. He must have used that plane to take Freya away!

Connor hurriedly followed and apologized, “Mr. Monaghan, I didn’t expect Miss Kaufmann to leave with Matthew!

Radley’s eyes were filled with anger and determination. “He deceived her into going with him!”

Icy Sea. Radley knew what Freya was talking about. But even if she wanted to go through rehab, she could do it in

Caltun. He wanted to be with her. Surely, Matthew’s authoritative organization had given her hope.

Radley took a deep breath. “Call for a private plane to Mutrya immediately.”

He turned around to leave, his face tense. Connor hesitated. “Mr. Monaghan, Miss Kaufmann will come back, won’t

she?”

Radley’s voice was ice-cold. “Since Matthew took her away, he won’t let her return so easily.”

Matthew Hood!

“Get the people in Caltun moving. Call Mikael and Chris. Besiege Hood Group!”

The people in Kundin began to disperse.

“The Monaghans, the Hoods, and Freya have all left. Boss, should we bring her back?”

In a Floravalean-style villa in the north, Jamie sat in a dimly lit room as Monkey reported the situation The lackey

didn’t dare to lift his head, and his eyes betrayed deep fear.

Jamie had been sitting there for two hours. He didn’t unleash his fury or say anything.

Monkey knew that the Strategist had made a concession the day before, letting Freya go after careful

consideration.

He had flown to another country overnight to invite a renowned gastric cancer specialist, who was waiting in the

living room.

When he came to talk to Edward along with Jamie, he saw a lifeless body hanging at the bedside. The body had

gone cold and stiff.

Edward hung from the iron chain Jamie used to restrain him and now had gained true freedom.

After Monkey finished reporting, Jamie, on the floor, didn’t say a word. He cautiously retreated and left the

room.

The room was quiet, and Edward had been taken down from the iron chain and laid on the ground before Jamie.

The young man no longer resembled his former self, looking emaciated, with his eyes tightly closed and no sign of

breathing.

Jamie’s gaze fell on Edward’s heart, waiting for any movement, but there was none.

In the icy-cold room, the last trace of warmth had completely vanished.

Jamie turned his head and Hooked at the opened box on the bedside table.

He never looked at the farewell letter from the moment he discovered his younger brother hanging at the bedside.

He couldn’t accept Edward’s departure, for the young man was his only family left in this world.

Jamie picked up the paper box and began to read the handwriting on it.

“Let Freya go?” His gaze settled on these four words, and he suddenly grinned, lowering his head to look at Edward

on the ground.

“You said you decided to leave because you don’t want to live your last moments in pain. But then you also ask me

to let Freya go. Did you do it for yourself or for her?”

Jamie pursed his lips. Either way, he, Jamie, was never the reason.

He crouched down and placed the paper box into Edward’s hand.

“I had originally planned to let her go. But since you went to such lengths for her and left me in this way. I won’t let

her go even if it’s the last thing I do!”

Death was the deepest betrayal, and Jamie felt like something was missing in his heart, making it hard and

unyielding.

He stood up, placed his younger brother on the bed, and covered him with a blanket.

He exited the room and entered the living room. Everyone in the living room was at their respective positions.

Monkey was in conversation with the specialist. When the specialist saw Jamie coming out, he immediately stood up

and said, “Sir, can I go see the patient now?”

Jamie quirked a brow and asked, “Do you want to see him?”

The doctor furrowed his brow slightly and replied, “I came here to treat a patient. How can I treat him without

seeing him?”

Jamie nodded and said, “Treat him down there then.”

The doctor was puzzled and somewhat fearful. “What are you talking about?”

Jamie had already drawn a pistol from his waist, and the gun spun in his hand before a loud gunshot rang out. The

specialist he had brought along fell to the ground, lifeless.

Monkey remained silent and proceeded to drag the specialist’s body outside.

Jamie watched coldly, then turned and went back upstairs.

When Monkey returned, the alarm indicating a security breach in the villa had started ringing, and everyone

immediately sprang into action.

Monkey rushed up to the third floor and said, “Mr. Strategist, it seems that Black Hawk’s people have

arrived!”

Jamie’s face darkened with a sinister expression, and he replied, “I know.”

Back in Caltun, based on the information provided by Radley, Inken finally pinpointed Jamie’s location. He had

seemingly appeared on the map out of nowhere.

Most of Green Flamation’s personnel had been dispatched to Kundin. Originally, they were on their way back when

they received Inken’s message and immediately headed to surround Jamie.

All of them moved in one direction while Brisa and Landon, who had been searching for Freya in Kundin. breathed a

sigh of relief upon hearing that Freya was safe.

Then, they learned of Jamie’s location that day, and Brisa was ready to deal with this guy who had been lurking in

the background, capture him, and bring him back to Caltun to face the consequences, allowing Freya to settle the

score.

Landon was driving a modified jeep, watching Brisa as she sharpened a knife.

“You might not need that knife.”

“We’re almost there,” Brisa replied, her eyes cold and determined. She exuded the intimidating aura of Green

Flamation, and her face was serious, her gaze cautious, alert, and filled with malice.

As the vehicle approached the location, both of their expressions grew grim. Gunshots could already be heard from

there.

“Step on it; something’s wrong!” Brisa urged.

When their car could finally see the villa from a distance, there was a deafening explosion, and the Floravalean-

style villa exploded.

Brisa’s heart raged, and she was about to get out of the car.

Landon immediately held her back, saying, “Something’s not right; it seems like the people fighting up there are not

our people.”

The

group wore dark camouflage uniforms, resembling international mercenaries, with a black eagle emblem on the

back of their outfits.

Landon had excellent vision and squinted to get a better look.

“When Ink sent the message, we were the closest to this place, so our people probably haven’t arrived yet. This is

their crossfire. We can’t go up there now, or we might easily become targets on both sides!”

Brisa was getting anxious. “What should we do? I’m worried that Jamie might have died in that explosion!”

Landon nodded. “You can tell from the joy on those people in camouflage that something’s wrong. We need to go

back first! Call Ink!”
