Chapter 275 He'd been able to pull her into the car earlier because he'd caught her by surprise. Now that she was on her guard, he probably wouldn't be able to pull it off a second time.
And so, instead of opening the door beside him, he did something which had Willow utterly mind-boggled: He climbed over into the driver's seat.
How far was he going to go, just to drive her htoday? Making it into the front seat, Xavier started the engine and drove off.
Willow was irritated by how he kept trying to do her favors, no matter how unwelcome. It was true that she owed him right now for saving her from Yelena's trap. Now, her debt of obligation to him was only going to increase.

Jolted back to the present, Willow followed his cue and asked, "Why?" "It represents the goodwill we used to share between us. In that sense, I named my company for you." Hearing this, Willow felt a horrible sinking feeling in her heart. She'd guessed that it might be something to do with her, when first she'd found out about Xavier being the founder. However, to hear him actually say it out loud... she still felt the impact of the blow, nonetheless.
It wasn't always so easy to let go.
However, for smistakes, there was no second chance.
Her mind was already made up. All she had to do was make that clear to him: "You could just as easily share goodwill with any other woman. I'm hardly impressed. Leave it behind and move on, Xavier. We both deserve the freedom to live our own lives." As she said these words, she was careful not to let any form of emotion show. When she'd said her piece, she turned away and looked out the window.
Xavier observed her in the rearview mirror. She was the very picture of resolute determination. He could feel his heart breaking all over again... but he couldn't say a word against her now.
The car cto a stop outside the apartment complex. Willow got off, then fumbled around for her purse so she could pay him.
Before she had the chance to do so, Xavier drove off into the night. Willow realized that she'd left her handbag behind on the car.
"Xavier! Hey!" she called out, but the car sped off down the road, and soon was lost to her sight completely.
It was as though Xavier was determined not to accept fare payment from her, this time.
