Chapter 313 It had been so long so Tristan should be done by now.
What would he do if he couldn't find Willow when he cout? Willow felt a chill and willed herself not to think of the worst.
She hurried to the restroom with her children.
They didn't see anyone outside the restroom. Tristan wasn't at the men's toilet entrance either.
Willow began to panic. She had Julian enter the men's room to see if Tristan was there.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtJulian obliged and went inside.
He knocked on the door of each cubicle, asking, "Tris, it's Julian. Are you in there?" He started from the first to the last, then the last to the first.
Tristan wasn't in any of the cubicles.
Julian left the men's room and said to Willow, "Mommy, Tris isn't in there." Willow felt increasingly nervous and began to tremble. "Cwithto the ladies' room to look for him." She didn't want any more of her children separated from the group since they were already missing Tristan. Julian wasn't supposed to enter the ladies' but Willow didn't have the capacity for that now.
After entering the ladies' room, Willow called out anxiously, "Tristan, are you in there? Triston, it's me, Mommy!" One of the cubicle doors opened and a child cout.
Assuming it was Tristan, Willow hurried over, feeling slightly relieved.
However, it was a little girl with braids. She was wearing a dress and looked to be about seven years old.
She wasn't Tristan! Willow started to panic again.
She continued to call out to Tristan.
A woman cout from one of the cubicles and held the hand of the little girl. She glanced at Julian, thinking that he was a girl as well, and paid him no mind. It wasn't until she noticed that he was dressed like a boy that she confirmed his gender.
That woman glared at Willow. "This is the ladies' room. Why did you bring a boy in here?" Willow was anxious about losing Tristan so she didn't have the capacity to argue.
She said half-heartedly, "I'm sorry. One of my children is missing so I didn't care too much since I'm busy looking for him." She had let Tristan enter the men's room by himself precisely because he was a boy.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHad she been unreasonable, she would've taken Tristan to the ladies' instead and waited for him here. That way, none of this would've happened and they wouldn't have run into Jasper, much less lose Tristan.
She wasn't asking that the woman empathize with her distress. She just hoped that she wouldn't be so harsh.
Yet, that woman was extremely unkind and a relentless type that held onto mistakes. "It's your fault your lost your child, so why should other people be understanding of you? My daughter was using the toilet, but you brought a boy in here! Children who grow up with people like you are bound to turn into criminals!"
Willow was feeling anxious and frustrated enough. Upon hearing insults about her children; she becenraged. Still, she suppressed her anger and took her children outside to have them wait for her right at the entrance.
She returned to the ladies to see the woman washing her hands at the sink. The latter was still grumbling, "How immoral. Your whole family will die a horrible death-..." Before she could say the word "deaths", Willow grabbed her head and pushed her into the sink while pressing the sink's stopper. She turned on the faucet to the in maximum so that the woman's face was sinking into water. "Those without morals never have anything decent to say! Can't breathe? You should try to suffocate more!"
